Welcome Campers (July18-22) (August 8-12)

Welcome Campers (July18-22) (August 8-12)

Once again we are looking toward having two great camps this year. Below you will find a few rules/reminders so we may have a safe, enjoyable camp. Please arrive at the Historic Valley Campground main parking lot each day by 7:50 AM . Pick up is at 4:00 PM Monday through Thursday, in the Windsor Lake Parking lot (do not drive down into the campground for afternoon pick up). Friday dismissal is at 2:00 PM. We ask that campers dress appropriately: keep in mind we have camp rain or shine. Sneakers or boots (No opened toed shoes, sandals, or flip flops), shorts (must be lower thigh to knee length) or pants. Team color tee shirts will be provided the first day and are required to be worn every day. Sweatshirt or jacket if weather indicates. Each camper should bring daily: Bathing suit and towel, sunscreen, any medication for which we have written permission to administer (Prescriptions need to be in original packaging), and their ROPES water bottle which will be provided on the first day. Morning snack/Lunch/Afternoon snack are all provided by the ROPES program. Should your child have any dietary restrictions, you might consider sending appropriate foods with them. No Electronics of any kind (IPads, IPods, Computers, Cell phones, etc..) will be allowed to be used during camp. If you choose to send a cell phone with your child, it must remain in his/her back pack. The ROPES Staff is NOT responsible for any lost or stolen items. We look forward to having a great 2016 Camp!

2016 Camp Info

2016 Camp Info

Welcome to our web site. The ROPES Staff is gearing up for our 2016 season. Just a few reminders: Campers/Mentors must be students of schools from Adams, Cheshire, Clarksburg, Florida, North Adams, or Williamston. Campers must be 11-13 years old and mentors must be 14-18 years old with a minimum of two years experience as a camper. Applications are to be filled out on line and completed by June 1st. Parents are responsible for transportation to/from camp and need to check the website for camp assignments. Please remember this is a progressive camp (Tuesday builds on Mondays activities, Wednesday builds on Tuesday and Monday sessions, etc...) therefore, campers must attend all sessions. There is a limit of 72 campers/30 mentors per camp so register early!
